WhatsApp Integration Overview¶
Kewbot is designed around WhatsApp Business API operations.
Main capabilities in Kewbot¶
- Receive inbound customer messages
- Send agent replies during the care window
- Start outbound conversations with approved templates
- Run template-based campaigns
- Use interactive structures (for example, ITR-based routing)
Setup checklist¶
- Connect WhatsApp Business API account.
- Sync approved templates from Meta.
- Configure inbound routes.
- Create agent users and groups.
- Test outbound template delivery.
Policy-aware behavior¶
- Outside the customer care window, agents must use approved templates to initiate/reopen contact.
- Template quality, category, and approval are managed by Meta; Kewbot syncs and uses them.
Operational recommendations¶
- Keep templates updated and tested.
- Use consistent phone formatting in international format.
- Map template buttons to clear destinations in Kewbot.
