Automation (ITRs)

ITRs (Interactive Text Responses) are menu-style WhatsApp messages that route customers automatically based on selected options.

What an ITR includes

  • Header
  • Body
  • Footer
  • List button title
  • Menu options grouped by sections

Each option can point to a destination such as a group, announcement, another flow, or external endpoint.

Typical setup flow

  1. Create ITR name and message content.
  2. Add options and descriptions.
  3. Assign destination for each option.
  4. Save and connect from inbound route, template button, or automation flow.

Invalid input handling

If a customer sends a response that does not match the active menu, Kewbot can apply fallback behavior based on company invalid-input settings.

Operational limits

  • ITR availability depends on WhatsApp API capabilities.
  • Menu structures should stay simple and short for better completion rates.
